Starting prices

Know the starting point before the work begins.

Every return is quoted after a brief review. These prices assume complete, organized records and one current-year federal filing.

Individual

Simple individual return

Starting at$200

Generally W-2 income, standard deduction, and a limited number of common tax forms.

Individual

Complex individual return

Starting at$350

May include itemizing, investments, education, homeownership, multiple income sources, or significant life changes.

Self-employed

Simple Schedule C

Starting at$450

One organized sole proprietorship with summarized income and clearly categorized expenses.

Self-employed

Detailed Schedule C

Starting at$650

More transactions, mixed personal and business activity, vehicle or home-office questions, assets, inventory, or cleanup.

Why can the price increase?

The final fee may increase for additional forms or schedules, multiple businesses or states, rentals, investments, bookkeeping cleanup, missing or disorganized records, prior-year or amended returns, unusual transactions, extra meetings, or rush work. Any mobile-service travel fee is discussed before the appointment.

Document guide

What should you gather?

Start with the section that sounds most like you. These lists cover common records—not every item applies to every return, and additional documents may be requested after reviewing your situation.

Do not email or text sensitive documents.

A checklist is the beginning—not the tax return.

Documents are reviewed for relevance, completeness, and how the current rules apply to your facts. Having a record does not automatically make an expense deductible or a credit allowable.

Schedule C preparation needs clean records.

If records are incomplete or personal and business activity are mixed, cleanup or bookkeeping work may be needed before tax preparation can begin. Scope and pricing are discussed first.
